Enlightening is about finding pleasure in sharing knowledge. Inside the pocket of the fabric, I have provided zines to read.

Male-Box is my zine series on medical and sexual education, created by a transgender man for members of my community and those who love us. Through this series, I share the unique everyday experiences that many transgender men face. People often fear what they don’t understand, and I hope to inform people by sharing approachable, pocket-sized zines.

Pleasure Project is a visualization of my own relationship with pleasure. As a transgender man, I have observed changes in my experience with sexual climax, physically and emotionally, before and after beginning testosterone hormone therapy. Through this piece, I explore how my body and sense of pleasure continue to evolve throughout my transition.

This guardian was created at the height of bathroom laws that were made to ban trans people from public spaces in 2023.

I first found a love for black walnuts in West Virginia, when I seemed like I would no longer be able to return there, I found that walnuts also grow prevalently in Chicago, Ohio and Wisconsin, which is home to my fiercest supporters. I created this guardian out of clothes I wore before my transition, all dyed with walnut dye. Created in the shape and size of a cat, this guardian is sent to bring comfort to me and those like me.
